Hi, I’m Letícia! :)
As a non-native speaker, English has always been my passion—leading me to study in Malta, working as a translator, and eventually teaching English online. But the real spark for Fluent 4 Life happened when I was living in Baku, Azerbaijan.
While living abroad, I connected with brilliant local students who already had a solid intermediate or advanced foundation. They didn't want tedious grammar drills or dry textbooks. Instead, they constantly asked me the ultimate question:
"How can I practice English so I never lose my speaking fluency and confidence?"
I tailored my lessons specifically for them, throwing out the rulebooks and focusing on real-life conversations, movies, books, and pronunciation.
The true "aha!" moment came when I moved back to Brazil. Suddenly, I was in the exact same shoes as my Azerbaijani English learners. Without daily immersion, I started forgetting words, struggling with pronunciation, and losing my confidence.
I had to become my own student. I combined my personal struggles with rigorous linguistic research, earned my TEFL certification, and perfected a system to maintain English fluency effortlessly from anywhere in the world. That is how Fluent4Life was born!
